Elgar Junior Singers Location: Worcester Ages: 9 to 14 Suitable for: Boys and girls Rehearsal Details: Every Wednesday from 5:30pm The 25-strong choir is attached to the Elgar School of Music, situated in Central Worcester. Its professional choir trainer is Wilhelm Theunissen, formerly director of vocal studies at the Musicon in Bloëmfontein, South Africa. The Choir won the first prize in the Junior Choir class of the last Elgar Choral Festival in 2000, and regularly gives concerts in Worcester and district, often with their professional counterparts The Elgar Chorale.
