Come and Sing at Worcester Cathedral Date: 30 September 2006 Time: Workshop at 1pm Evensong at 5.30pm Location: Worcester Cathedral A workshop with Adrian Lucas, followed by the chance to sing Evensong with Worcester Cathedral Choir Following their very successful Come & Sing afternoon in April 2005, Worcester Cathedral Arts, in conjunction with Singworks, held a similar event in Worcester Cathedral on Saturday 30th September 2006. Under the direction of Adrian Lucas, Director of Music at the Cathedral, participants rehearsed various pieces during the afternoon and then joined with the world-famous Cathedral Choir to sing them as part of the Evensong Service. Eighty young people aged 8 – 13 took part in the event. Another Come and Sing event for young people is planned for October 2007.
