'Come and Sing' at Worcester Cathedral

An afternoon workshop culminating in the singing of Evensong
This workshop was on similar lines to those held in 2005 and 2006, which were attended and much enjoyed by over 80 young singers.
The workshop was led by Christopher Allsop, Assistant Organist, Worcester Cathedral. He rehearsed the music with the young people during the afternoon as well as giving them the chance to experiment and discover how to get the best from their voices.
At the end of the workshop, participants joined the world-famous Worcester Cathedral Choir to sing Evensong. The music included items specially arranged for the occasion as well as a range of more familiar pieces.
Parents and teachers were welcome to attend and observe what was a memorable day for all concerned.
